Halogen Spot Heater

Various types of spot heaters can be selected from this page

If the light of the halogen lamp is condensed to a point and the conditions are favorable, temperatures can reach 2,552ºF (1400ºC) to 2732ºF (1500ºC). Also, temperature can be arbitrarily controlled from room temperature to maximum temperature depending on the supply voltage.

Since lamp heating is non-contact heating, perfect clean heating and heating in vacuum are possible.

Although the size of the spot is determined by the lamp, mirror size and the focal length, special light distribution design such as widening the irradiation range and providing arbitrary distribution is possible.

Various specifications are supported with the maximum capacity. Also low cost and quick delivery have been achieved.

To ensure reliable high temperature heating with halogen spot heater, a little ingenuity is required along with the selection of the heater. Examine the“Cavity heating method” also. To obtain high temperature, short focal length and large mirror diameter is advantageous.

The halogen lamp has a large inrush current and may not work with the normal power supply. The following is an introduction to supported types of power supply. The following general power supply can support normal usage. When high reliability and functionality is required in cases such as industrial applications, dedicated power supply must be used.
