Water cooled type ultra-compact halogen line heater Ultra-high-performance, high-output compact, low cost (strip, and surface heating)

Parallel Light Type Line Heater for Surface Heating Width 1.37 in (35 mm)
LHW-35/f∞/L☐
The ultra-compact line heater “LHW-35/f8” is a line lamp heater unit using a cylindrical halogen lamp.
By combining multiple units, low cost surface heating can be supported.
In this case the irradiation power density reaches 35 W/cm2, and can heat a wide area to around 1832°F (1000ºC).
This model has the excellent features of halogen lamp heating such as ultra-clean high-temperature heating, heating without a medium (can heat inside vacuum), and startup time is very short (approximately 1 to 2 seconds).
Even in the same parallel light type, LHW-60 type that comes with a light recovery hood is excellent when the irradiation distance is relatively long or has to be used independently. However, to carry out surface heating by placing multiple units in parallel with a relatively short irradiation distance, parallel light type line heater unit LHW-35/f8 is recommended.
Note: Basically the line heater is lit such that the lamp axis is horizontal. Installing vertically or diagonally, may cause deformation of filaments and overheating of the lamp sealing parts resulting in a shorter service life. However, please contact Fintech as there may be cases for which solutions are offered.

If there are restrictions on the length or thickness of the lamp, the higher the output of the lamp, lower will be the service life of the lamp.
It is also possible to combine with the far-infrared heater. However, the power will be 1/4 that of a halogen lamp. High temperature heating is not possible, but can be used for heating materials such as paper and transparent glass which cannot absorb near-infrared and visible light in some cases.

LHW-35/f8/H13 Supports the special ø0.511 (13) size halogen lamp heater. Supports up to an effective mirror length of 51.18 in (1300mm).
The lamp used can support electric current value up to 20 A. That is 4 kW for 200 V, 8 kW for 400 V, and 12 kW for 600 V. |

Measurement data of heating temperature These temperatures are the rise in temperature of the refractory bricks when the refractory insulating bricks have been irradiated at the prescribed irradiation distance, and measured using a ø0.2-K thermocouple. The measurements have been done along the lamp axis direction of LHW and the perpendicular direction. Only at the center for the perpendicular direction. |

The following is the measurement of the lamp sealing when LHW-35/f8/L280 is equipped with a 200 V - 2 kW or a 200 V - 3 kW lamp. The service life will reduce if the temperature of this part is not below 662ºF (350ºC), therefore 0.792 gal/min (3 L/min) to 1.32 gal/min (5 L/min) (both sides 1.58 gal/min (6 L/min) to 2.64 gal/min (10 L/min)) of cooling air has to be passed.
Cooling may be required even for a 2 kW lamp depending on the usage conditions. For example, if there is a strong reflection from the object which is heated, the temperature may rise beyond this data. |
