Line Condensing with Long Focal Length 2.95 in (75 mm) Standard Line Heater
LHW-65/f75/L◻

The standard type line heater “LHW-65/f75/L” is a line condensing heater using a halogen lamp with a mirror width of 2.55 in (65 mm) and focal length of 2.95 in (75 mm).

It is an easy-to-use halogen line heater having a long focal length. Also, it is a low cost device.

The product length can be increased and effective length of the mirror can be extended in the range 3.93 in (100 mm) to 98.42 in (2500 mm).

This model supports large power outputs, and a high output which is approximately double compared to the previous heaters can be obtained (H18 type).

To ensure reliable high temperature heating, a little ingenuity is required along with the selection of the heater. Also examine “Cavity heating method”.

Line condensing is not limited for line heating only. Overall heating is possible by placing the work on the conveyor and irradiating with the line heater.

Note: Basically the line heater is lit such that the lamp axis is horizontal. Installing vertically or diagonally, may cause deformation of filaments and overheating of the lamp sealing parts resulting in a shorter service life. However, please contact Fintech as there may be cases for which solutions are offered.


Compared to the common product- LHW55/f25 type, mirror opening is wider by 0.39 in (10 mm) and is now 2.55 in (65 mm). This has been done to reduce the light utilization ratio to a minimum when using a long focal length.

↑ The reason for the mirror to appear shallow, even though the mirror is deep is because of the light source image of the reflective mirror.

The effective mirror length of these mirrors is 11.02 in (280 mm); however, they can be manufactured in the range of 3.93 in (100 mm) to 98.42 in (2500 mm).

This line heater is a product with long focal length specification and a long track record as a heating device for industrial and research purposes.

Supports higher output that is approximately twice the previous products. The power of a standard mirror is approximately 1 kw for each 3.93 in (100 mm), but in the case of this heater, the maximum possible input is approximately 2 kw for each 3.93 in (100 mm) of the mirror. (In case of L = 280, the standard product is 2 kW. However, the maximum possible input is approximately 5 kW for this heater)

The photograph on the left side shows the state when 1/10 of the power is applied to the lamp. Even in this state, the power is of the level that can burn paper.
