Large Capacity Hot Air Heater 18H, 29H, 38H Series

Since a single heating tube is used, the length of large-capacity heaters increases. If you want shorter lengths, refer to the model with 6 parallel heaters.

(2) 29H series (3 to 5 kW) Suitable flow range is 10.56 to 132.08 gal/min (40 to 500 L/min) for heating tube diameter ∅1.141 in (29 mm) and metal case outer diameter ∅1.338 in (34 mm).
(3) 38H series (5 to 7 kW) Suitable flow range is 15.85 to 184.92 gal/min (60 to 700 L/min) for heating tube diameter ∅1.496 in (38 mm) and metal case outer diameter ∅1.69 in (43 mm).

* The lower value of the flow rate of the “Suitable flow range” in the right column of the upper table is for the case when the unit is used by controlling the supply voltage.

* Refer to the Manual when this heater is used below 1472ºF (800ºC). Various actual measurement data is available for such cases. When using the unit at high temperature range such as 1472ºF (800ºC) to 1742ºF (950ºC), lower the air flow rate and supply voltage.

recommended flow rate when used in the limit range 1652ºF (900ºC) to 1742ºF (950ºC) is as given below.

F = 0.012P, F: Air flow rate [L/min], P: Heater rated power [W]

* Control the supply power so that the target temperature is reached at the above flow rate. The voltage at this time will be approximately 60 to 65% of the rated voltage. Using the unit at the above-mentioned high temperatures reduces the service life of the standard built-in temperature sensor (K thermocouple). For such cases, change the specification of the built-in thermocouple to R type (platinum type) or insert an appropriate thermocouple from the outside.

We have reduced the small of air that used to leak from the lead wire to almost zero (at 87.02 psi (0.6 MPa)) using a specialized treatment. It can be used even when it is subject to high pressure with inline use.
